Privacy Policy

The short version

You can build a lawn care plan without an account. We collect only what the site needs to work, to understand how it is used, and to fix errors. We do not sell your personal information.

What you give us

• Plan details. Your ZIP code, lawn size, grass type, and (optionally) soil pH are used in your browser to build your plan. They appear in the web address of your plan so you can bookmark it. They are not stored by us unless you save a plan or sign in.
• Account (optional). If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and store it with your saved plan details, equipment choices, and saved plans so you can come back to them. Only you can read your own saved data.
• Feedback. If you send feedback, we store your rating and comment together with the ZIP code, lawn size, region, and page you were on.
• Equipment gaps. When your plan has no calibration setting for a spreader or sprayer and product combination, we log that combination (not you) so we can research it.

Information collected automatically

• Analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. It uses cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location, browser, and device. You can opt out with Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies.
• Error monitoring. We use Sentry to receive error reports and performance samples, which can include the page address, browser type, and technical details of the error.
• Hosting logs. Our host, Vercel, processes standard server logs such as IP address and requested page.
• Browser storage. We save your spreader, sprayer, and application-method choices in your browser's local storage, and use session storage to resume saving a plan after sign-in and to avoid repeating the same equipment-gap log entry. Clearing your browser data removes these.

Amazon affiliate links and cookies

Some product links go to Amazon and are affiliate links. When you click one, Amazon (not us) may place or read cookies in your browser and collect information about your visit and any purchase, which lets Amazon credit us a commission. We do not receive your Amazon account or purchase details. Amazon's use of information is described in Amazon's own privacy notice. Other third parties named above, such as Google, may also set cookies as described in this policy. See our Disclosures page for the affiliate relationship.

Who processes your data

We use Supabase to store accounts and saved data and to run Google sign-in, Google for sign-in and analytics, Sentry for error monitoring, and Vercel for hosting. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies.

Your choices

You can use the site without an account, clear your browser storage at any time, and ask us to delete your account and saved data or to see what we hold about you by writing to the address below. Because the site is not directed to children, we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
